Currently shipping at Freddie Mac

I build the platforms
that engineering teams
depend on.

Full-stack software developer with 2+ years shipping production systems — from an Angular dashboard adopted by all 10 Single Family Business Tech Ops teams, to a RAG-powered chatbot now used as Freddie Mac's internal reference architecture for AI projects.

01 / CAPABILITIES

What I operate.

Six surfaces of full-stack practice — built across a four-year-old microservice suite, a brand-new RAG service, and the org-wide tooling that ships everything else.

01

Full-Stack Engineering

Angular frontends and Spring Boot microservices, end-to-end ownership. Built the PHD dashboard from a blank Angular project to production adoption across 10 teams.

02

RAG & AI Systems

Designed and independently shipped Stella — a Python/FastAPI RAG chatbot with vector search, now the internal reference architecture for chatbot projects.

03

Microservice Backends

Java / Spring Boot across an 8-service suite. New REST endpoints, scheduled batch jobs, scoring algorithms — all in production with engineering leads watching.

04

Data Pipelines

Metric ingestion, aggregation, and scoring against PostgreSQL-backed services. Diagnosed and remediated data-integrity bugs that were silently corrupting cross-service scores.

05

Developer Tooling

Contributed to the Starter Kit — Freddie Mac's company-wide microservice code generator. A single change to its DB layer compounded into a ~300% throughput gain for every team using it.

06

CI/CD & Cloud

Automated validation in the modern delivery toolchain — catching duplicate gateway and ingress configs before they reach prod. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

07

AI Governance & DX

Authoring steering documents and validation hooks for Freddie Mac's company-wide Kiro AI IDE rollout — codifying standards, enforcing security adherence, and shipping safer AI-assisted dev to every division.

02 / EXPERIENCE

Where I've shipped.

Two years, five major projects, one promotion — building the internal platforms that engineering leads across a division (and now developers across every division) actually depend on.

Product Health Dashboard (PHD)

Division-wide platform — 8 Spring Boot microservices — giving engineering leads real-time visibility into application health, compliance, and cost metrics across all 10 SF Business Tech Ops teams.

  • Built the Angular frontend from scratch, delivering an interactive dashboard adopted in production by leads across all 10 teams.
  • Enhanced and extended Java / Spring Boot services across the 8-microservice suite, shipping new REST endpoints and improving existing ones to support evolving dashboard and scoring requirements.
  • Authored new scheduled batch jobs and improved existing algorithms to aggregate, process, and score product metrics against company compliance and engineering standards.
  • Diagnosed and remediated data-integrity bugs in the metric ingestion pipeline against PostgreSQL-backed services — scalable fixes that improved cross-service consistency and eliminated downstream scoring inaccuracies.

Stella — AI-Powered Internal Chatbot

Led end-to-end design and independent development of a Retrieval-Augmented Generation chatbot that guides users through the PHD and Starter Kit, answering natural-language questions and surfacing live health metrics on demand.

  • Built a Python / FastAPI backend microservice and an Angular conversational UI; the implementation is now the internal reference architecture for future chatbot projects across both frontend and backend.
  • Partnered cross-functionally with internal UX designers to align the chatbot with company design standards and accessibility requirements.
Project · AI Governance

Kiro Governance — AI IDE Steering & Hooks

Currently authoring the steering documents and validation hooks for Freddie Mac's company-wide Kiro AI IDE rollout — making sure that as developers across every division adopt AI-assisted coding, the AI ships safe, on-standard, on-policy code by default.

  • Authoring steering documents that capture company coding standards, security policies, and architectural conventions — encoded directly into Kiro so guidance is enforceable inside the IDE, not buried in a wiki.
  • Building validation hooks that run automated code-safety and linting checks against AI-generated code before it lands.
  • Designed for org-wide rollout — the deliverable is distributed to developers across every Freddie Mac division, broadening reach well beyond a single team or division.

Starter Kit — Company-Wide Code Generation

A platform used by engineering teams across Freddie Mac to generate customizable, deployment-ready microservice code — accelerating new-project onboarding and standardizing best practices.

  • Re-engineered database connectivity in the generated service template — achieving a ~300% increase in connection performance and request throughput for every team that consumes the kit.
Project · CI/CD

Modern Delivery Toolchain

CI/CD platform infrastructure that validates and ships every service across the organization.

  • Implemented automated validation checks for duplicate gateway and ingress configurations, preventing misconfigured repositories from generating multiple gateways and improving deployment reliability across the org.
03 / IMPACT

What I've delivered.

Numbers that compound — measurable outcomes from systems that engineering leads check before standup, not after.
